JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (JNTUK) is established in the year 2008 under Act No. 30 of Govt. of AP. University College of Engineering Vizianagaram (UCEV), is one of the constituent engineering colleges of this University (JNTUK) playing a significant role in imparting technological education in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Since 2008 seven (07) UG (B. Tech) programmes Viz., CE, EEE, ECE, CSE, IT, ME and Metallurgical engineering and five (05) PG (M. Tech) programmes Viz., EEE, ME, ECE, CSE, IT, apart from MCA.
The college is rapidly developing with more UG and PG programmes in various branches of engineering. It has acquired good reputation among the Government University Engineering colleges of Andhra Pradesh in terms of infrastructure, placements and also in providing quality technical education with in short span of time. UCEV, JNTUK emerged as one of the premier institutions offering Engineering education in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
