The 2017 International Workshop on IT Services and Security for Medical and Healthcare (MediSSec-17) will be held in Busan, in conjunction with PlatCon-17, during 13-17 February 2017. A sustainable medical IT service is required anywhere and anytime by changing social and financial environment rapidly. For these, the medical fields are being converged with the IT like u-healthcare. However, a risk related to medical IT service is getting higher because the hacking about healthcare organizations and medical devices, the data breach by internal employees and sharing a medical information among healthcare organizations and so on. The focus of MediSSec-17 will be on protecting the security and privacy of these next-generation medical and healthcare IT Services.
