Call For Papers:
As the name suggests, the BalkanCom is held in the countries inthe Balkan Peninsula. The goal of the conference is to bring together researchers in academia, research labs and industry from all over the world to this historical region. The goal is to address the important challenges in the evolving world of Communications and Networking,while at the same time bolstering the potential and talent that is found in this exciting and dynamic region.The first edition of the conference will take place on May 31 - June 2, 2017 in Tirana, Albania—one of the largest cities in the Balkan Peninsula. The theme of the conference, Engaging the Balkan Region through Communication and Networking, is fitting for the Balkan Peninsula, which has a rich history and needs indeed increased communication and networking in every sense of the word.We seek original completed and unpublished work not currently under review by any other journal/magazine/conference.

* Nano-scale communication networks
* Integration of heterogeneous networks
* Software-defined networking
* Security and privacy in communication networks

IMPORTANT DATES

• Paper submission deadline: February 20, 2017
  
• Notification of acceptance: April 20, 2017
  
• Camera-ready papers due: May 1, 2017
  

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Papers should describe original work and should be no more than 5 pages in a double-column format including tables,figures and references. Accepted papers up to 5 pages will be published inthe proceedings. One extra page is allowed with an additional fee,if accepted.
