The International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing (ICIAP)
September 11-15, Catania, Italy

ICIAP 2017 is the 19th edition of a series of conferences organized biennially by the Italian Member Society (GIRPR) of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR). The conference covers both classic and most recent trends in computer vision, pattern recognition and image processing and promises to be a very exciting forum where to meet scholars and students. Specific topic areas have been selected, each one overseen by scientists, among the main experts in the respective areas. The conference is structured in oral and poster sessions and foresees the invited lectures of distinguished speakers. Satellite workshops and tutorials are also organized. Accepted papers will be included in the ICIAP 2017 Conference Proceedings, which will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS). Every accepted paper requires that at least one author is registered with regular registration fee and attending the conference.
