The Emerging Security Technologies (EST) Conference is a leading Euro-Asia technology forum dedicated to the presentation and discussion of new ideas and concepts in emerging technologies that span applications from personal biometrics to national security. The EST conference has proven to be a venue for bringing to light cutting edge research and innovations in the field of security and computing. Particular focus on research dissemination and enabling interaction between researchers makes the EST conference technically valuable and an unmissable event for both the academia and the industry.
Previous EST Conferences were organized in Canterbury, UK, in 2010 and Preston, UK, in 2011. The 2012 EST was held in Lisbon, Portugal. The 2013 and 2014 EST conferences were held in Cambridge, UK, and Alcalá de Henares, Spain. The last EST conference was held in Braunschweig, Germany in 2015. This year the conference is being held at the University of Kent and takes place in the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury, UK. The conference is sponsored by University of Kent, University of Essex and IEEE. The IEEE United Kingdom and Ireland Section Computer Society is a technical sponsor for the event.
