2020 International Conference on Building Science, Technology and Sustainability (ICBSTS 2020) was originally planned to be held in University of Lisbon, Portugal. Due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, the conference have to shift to online form. Finally it was successfully held virtually during October 27-29, 2020. Thank you all for your participation and support!

Now, it's my great honor to be the behalf of the Conference Committee to announce that 2021 2nd International Conference on Building Science, Technology and Sustainability (ICBSTS 2021) will be held in University of Lisbon, Portugal during October 27-29, 2021.

**ICBSTS 2021 aims at providing the opportunities for collaboration and reflection that have the potential to greatly enhance the infrastructure and capacity for conducting and Building Science, Technology and Sustainability. And it's the premier forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the fields of Building Science, Technology and Sustainability.

**ICBSTS 2021 is co-sponsored by University of Lisbon. We sincerely welcome you to attend the conference and wish all of you have a good harvest in period of conference. Nuno Dinis Cortiços is Professor and Chair on Building's Energy Certification at the Department of Technologies in Architecture, Urbanism and Design at Faculdade de Arquitectura, Universidade de Lisboa.
As Researcher focuses on building’s renovation, autonomous maintenance systems, sensor and nano-technology applied to maintenance, building’s performance and renovation's simulations on buildings stock, and maintenance accuracy applied to Unesco heritage.

Dr. Eric J. Strauss is a Professor of Urban & Regional Planning in SPDC at MSU. He is a former Director of the Urban and Regional Planning Program.
Dr. Strauss has been a planner for federal and state governments, a City and County Planning Director, a City Attorney and a consultant to more than 50 organizations, both public and private, on a wide variety of planning related issues.
