Big data is an emerging paradigm applied to datasets whose size is beyond the ability of commonly used software tools to capture, manage, and process the data within a tolerable elapsed time, which are represented in three aspects, namely, Volume, Velocity, and Value. Cloud computing is positioning itself as an emerging platform for delivering information infrastructures and resources as IT services. Customers (enterprises or individuals) can provision and deploy Cloud services via pay-as-you-go pricing models saving huge capital investments in their own IT infrastructures.
