The 8th International Conference on Water Resources and Environment Research (ICWRER 2019)
June 14-18, 2019, Nanjing, China
Call For Paper
Initiated in 1993 at the University of Waterloo, the International Conference on Water Resources and Environment Research (ICWRER) brings together researchers and practitioners from around the globe to present and discuss their latest theoretical and practical research advances in order to better understand natural systems related to water resources and the environment. The series of conferences cover areas such as geographical information systems and remote sensing, stochastic hydrology, sustainable water management, surface water and groundwater interaction, ecosystem modelling, conflict resolution, scaling problems in hydrology and water resources, environmental management, risk analysis and climate change.
ICWRER 2019, the 8th of this series of conferences, will address key challenges in understanding complex interactions among hydrological, ecological and societal systems in order to furnish valuable insights into the sustainable development of both society and ecosystems in the long term. This understanding process requires interdisciplinary philosophies from hydrology, ecology, environment, engineering, economics, social sciences and many others. Researchers, practitioners, and graduate students from related fields are welcome to participate in the conference to exchange their latest work and ideas.
