Nowadays there are several technologies and systems to collect data in real-time. Consequently the amount of data available electronically is huge, what makes the use of semi-autonomous techniques imperative in order to create new knowledge and support the decision-making process. In this context arises the Data Science concept.
DS4IDS intends to promote the discussion and the dissemination of emergent trends, new projects and contributions about applied data science in order to support the decision process. By bringing together researchers from distinct areas is expected to present new artefacts with scientific and societal contributions.
