The need of advanced technologies to boost the global economy has been becomingly increasingly important in recent years, these technologies are not only focused on striving for new processes to lower the product manufacturing cost, but also ensuring their quality with the use of minimal time and materials for production.

The technologies involve fundamental research on material sciences to develop new materials and manufacturing processes to reduce the processing time and consumption of energy during the process to meet green requirements. Using new materials and studying their mechanical and material properties at different scale levels are crucial to ensure the safety and durability of resultant products.

For example, by considering manufacturing a product with unique features but for low-volume production, 3D printing technology was emerged to provide an excellent option for the industry. Another key area is on soft core systems is to develop e-platforms for designing, engineering, marketing and manufacturing products to ensure they are marketable with a good profit returned.

Computer-aided design and engineering (CAD/CAE) technology is another tool to enhance the production efficiency for products. Industries 4.0, introduced at Germany, is a new concept in advanced materials research and manufacturing technologies to include all stakeholders in it to develop a labour-free and self-monitoring manufacturing network.

The network itself would think (internet-of-think) and provide services (internet-of-service) to upstream and downstream operators on any issue in the process, which greatly reduce any fault incurred due to human errors and enhance production efficiency across different countries.

This conference is aimed at providing a platform for all researchers and engineers to share ideas, highly developed skills and successful practices to others, to create better methodologies and technologies to produce quality products.

The conference will be last for 4 days with the reception to be held in the first day to meet and mingle with conference chairs, session chairs and other participants. The third day will be the Gala Dinner to enjoy the Thai’s cultural environment. Keynote sessions will be arranged in the morning of the second and third days.
