About the Event:
The XII International Conference on Sensors and Electronic Instrumentation Advances (SEIA’ 2026) aims to accelerate progress in sensor science and electronic instrumentation by bridging fundamental research, engineering practice, and real-world deployment. This event serves as a global forum for researchers, innovators, and industry leaders to present advances that improve how we measure, monitor, and control complex systems across industrial, environmental, healthcare, mobility, energy, and smart infrastructure applications.
A central aim of SEIA’ 2026 is to help to move sensing innovation from prototypes to scalable solutions. The conference highlights technologies and methods that increase measurement accuracy, robustness, and lifecycle performance - covering calibration, uncertainty evaluation, reliability engineering, and validation in harsh or safety-critical environments.
Recognizing the importance of manufacturability and responsible innovation, SEIA ’2026 invites work on materials, packaging, testing, and production metrology, as well as approaches that improve supply-chain robustness and compliance with relevant regulatory and environmental requirements that reduce total cost of ownership over the device lifecycle. The conference also focuses on the practical challenges that often limit adoption at scale, including interoperability, system integration, and secure connectivity.
SEIA’2026 welcomes original research papers, applied case studies, and technology demonstrations spanning sensor types and modalities. By convening interdisciplinary expertise and supporting skills development through technical sessions and applied tutorials, SEIA’ 2026 aims to strengthen the global sensing community and help translate high-quality research into standards-aware, secure, and interoperable solutions that deliver impact at scale.
The conference is organized by the International Frequency Sensor Association (IFSA) - one of the major professional, non-profit association serving for sensor industry and academy since 1999. SEIA' 2026 will be held in co-location with 8th International Conference on Microelectronic Devices and Technologies (MicDAT '2026) under the same conference umbrella.
Next to all the technical subjects, a major function of this series of events lies in the opportunities for meeting colleagues. This aspect of our IFSA event has always been giving high marks and we continue to pay much attention to it. Coffee breaks, welcome cocktail reception, Gala Dinner and farewell cocktail are the best opportunity for social contacts. We trust that you will find SEIA' 2026 conference professionally rewarding and stimulating as well as enjoyable.
