Internet-of-Things (IoT) rapidly penetrates and transforms our everyday life. With recent advancements in sensing, communication and big-data technologies, new devices are being deployed as IoT networks that have the potential to be deployed broadly and at extremely large scale. However, IoT poses many challenges such as scale and complexity of data and device managements. Software-defined networking (SDN) and network orchestration will meet IoT in the near future to address those challenges.
