The Information Communication Technology and Society Conference (ICTAS2017) is to be held on March 9 and 10, 2017 at Coastlands Umhlanga Hotel and Convention Centre in Umhlanga, Durban, South Africa. ICTAS2017 is technical sponsored by the IEEE South Africa Section. (conference #38851).
Information Communication Technology (ICT) is becoming more pervasive within societies and our personal lives. Recognising this increasing role, this conference was conceived to provide a forum for researchers in both academe and industry to share their latest research contributions in the field, while promoting networking of people and ideas. This conference allows attendees to recognise emerging research trends and directions while evaluating present challenges with their proposed solutions.
We solicit submissions of previously unpublished work on the following themes of interest (but not limited to):

Submitted papers should not exceed 6 pages in IEEE format (double-column, 10pt font). Paper review is single-blind; therefore, submitted papers should include author names and their affiliations.
