The 13th Annual IEEE Workshop on Wide Bandgap Power Devices and Applications (WiPDA 2026) provides a forum for device scientists, circuit designers, systems engineers and application engineers to share technology updates, research findings, development experience and potential applications in wide bandgap power electronics.

WiPDA 2026 focuses on the latest advances in wide bandgap semiconductor technologies and their applications in power conversion and related systems. The workshop brings together researchers, engineers, industry professionals and other experts to discuss developments in wide bandgap materials, devices, packaging, circuits, converters and system-level applications.

Authors are invited to submit original technical contributions describing recent research, development, applications and innovations in wide bandgap power devices and applications.

WiPDA 2026 welcomes contributions from researchers, device scientists, circuit designers, systems engineers, application engineers, industry professionals and research institutions working in wide bandgap power electronics.

The workshop invites technical papers and contributions covering wide and ultra-wide bandgap materials, devices, packaging, circuits, converters and applications across energy, transportation, industry, aerospace and power systems.

Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, subject to IEEE requirements and publication policies.

• Paper abstracts/digests are invited for technical contributions.
• The extended submission deadline was July 27, 2026.
• Full papers were due August 28, 2026 according to the published 2026 CFP schedule.
• Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to IEEE requirements.
