The IEEE International Symposium on Ethics in Engineering, Science, and Technology (ETHICS) is a conference series sponsored by the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology (SSIT). IEEE ETHICS 2027 focuses on cultivating ethical technology through character, leadership, and education. The conference brings together researchers, educators, industry professionals, policymakers, and scholars from engineering, computing, philosophy, social sciences, and related fields to discuss responsible technology and its impact on society.
The theme of IEEE ETHICS 2027 is "Cultivating Ethical Technology: Character, Leadership, and Education." The conference will explore how ethical leadership, professional integrity, ethics education, and responsible innovation can help address challenges associated with artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, digital platforms, biotechnology, and other emerging technologies.
The ETHICS-2027 Program Committee welcomes original work that has not been previously or simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Submissions may include abstracts for posters, short papers of 3–5 pages, and regular papers of 6–10 pages, excluding references.
