34th IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces (IEEE VR 2027)
February 27 - March 3, 2027, Melbourne, Australia
Scope & Topics
34th IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces (IEEE VR 2027) brings together researchers, engineers, academics, industry professionals, and practitioners to discuss advances in virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, and 3D user interfaces.
The conference focuses on immersive technologies, human-computer interaction, computer graphics, interaction techniques, tracking and sensing, immersive visualization, virtual environments, and the systems and infrastructure that support extended reality experiences.
IEEE VR 2027 provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to present new ideas, share research findings, and discuss innovative methods, technologies, applications, and systems that advance virtual, augmented, and mixed reality.
Topics of Interest include, but are not limited to:
Paper Submission
Researchers, academics, engineers, and industry professionals are invited to submit original, high-quality research papers related to virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, 3D user interfaces, and related areas.
Submitted papers may present methodological contributions, technical advances, novel applications, or integrated systems. Research should demonstrate its contributions through appropriate evaluation, such as user studies, benchmarking, or comparisons with existing systems and techniques.
Papers must be prepared using the IEEE Computer Society VGTC conference format and submitted electronically as PDF documents through the Precision Conference Solutions (PCS) submission system. Papers should contain 4 to 9 pages of text, figures, and tables, excluding references. References must not exceed 2 additional pages. IEEE VR 2027 uses a double-blind review process, and submissions must be anonymized.
The paper abstract deadline is August 24, 2026, and the full paper submission deadline is August 31, 2026. Both deadlines are at 23:59:59 Anywhere on Earth (AoE).
Conference Program
IEEE VR 2027 will feature research presentations, posters, demonstrations, workshops, tutorials, panels, and community events covering virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality, 3D user interfaces, immersive technologies, and human-computer interaction.
The conference will provide opportunities for researchers, students, industry professionals, and practitioners to exchange ideas, present their latest work, and discuss emerging challenges and developments in immersive computing.
The conference is scheduled to take place in person in Melbourne, Australia, from February 27 to March 3, 2027.
